    What you'll love and hate

The location is unbeatable! Just across the road from the beach, a perfect spot for ocean lovers. The room was lovely, made mornings magical.

Some staff had inconsistent service, leaving me feeling unwelcome at times.

Very good experience there. Nicely appointed, tidy hotel with spectacular views. A nice size and well-equipped room, hair dryers, a bidet, and bathrobes in the room. Exceptionally nice and ideal location by attractions, absolutely fantastic breakfast.

    amazing sea view
    lack of basic amenities

    A view worth the hassle

The sea view from our room was amazing, turning every sunrise into a magical moment. The convenience of restaurants nearby made meal planning simple and enjoyable.

The lack of basic amenities like coffee supplies and a functional air conditioner tainted our experience. Parking was a daily challenge with no clear solutions provided.

location is fantastic and reception people are very friendly.

We asked for a family room. They gave us the room on the 5th floor. They were two rooms with a living room and there was no possibility (a pair of wooden shoehorns would have been enough) of keeping the doors open so we had to use the furniture to be able to keep an eye on the children without having to open the door with the key... glasses in the bathroom are plastic. terrace railing was covered with cobwebs. There was only one duvet in the double room and although it was a good temperature in Santander in the rooms it was cool and there was no duvet for the two beds in the children's room. bathroom window is situated above a window that can be opened completely which seems to me a danger on a 5th floor where there are children staying. breakfast buffet staff with very bad manners did not allow us access because they said that we were not registered although on our arrival the receptionist indicated that there was no problem. cafeteria was closed on Sunday afternoon... we communicated in reception our bad experience with the buffet on Saturday morning she indicated that she would take care of it and to communicate to the buffet staff that we did not need to register to access, during the rest of our stay we were not informed that we could access the buffet breakfast without any problem so we ended up having breakfast again in the annexed cafeteria to avoid another confrontation. In short, bad breakfast experience triggered a much more critical assessment of the hotel. It's a pity because the building and location is a wonder.

We did not go with breakfast included, even so, we had breakfast once again in the cafeteria and experience was ruined the day of our departure the waiter who attended us, who in bad manners and with little desire to work did not attend us according to his position, he was asked for cold milk, from the refrigerator and he put it warm until he was asked again and went to another place to get it, we also complained about the toast, was not as ready as we had asked on other occasions, bread was half toasted on one side and on the other not toasted, it had no tomato, it seems that bothered him, pq then threw it directly with a spoon, well, room empty and seemed to have full, bad experience, after discussing it did not charge us one of the breakfasts, well this is our experience and his bad attitude does not mean that the rest act the same, so, will not win customers.

    really good hospitality
    lovely view

    Perfect spot for group getaways

The reception team was friendly, cute us as soon as we stepped foot in the hotel. The rooms were huge, super clean and the view of the beach from our sixth floor room, just fine!

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but the experience was still quite acceptable.

The friendliness of the cleaning staff

room was too small, couldn't fit two people's things in the closet. I don't know if I could regulate the water in the shower properly, it came out hot and cold at will and intermittently. There was a construction site in the lot next to my room, at the back of the building and hotel could have at least warned and/or compensated for it, as the noise in the early morning was quite annoying. paint on the walls and part of the ceiling was very deteriorated and appearance was regular, this made it very uncomfortable. elevator was giving problems all week and even the penultimate day gave me a good scare. I was charged for the only item I consumed from the mini-bar in a week, small can of nuts, which, honestly, is not because of the 2. 5 euros I was charged, because the hotel might have had the detail to invite me after the large sum of money paid for a room that was not up to what is a 4 star category. During the checkout I was not even asked how my stay had been during the 6 nights.

sea views, comfortable bed and cleanliness. Quiet area with no traffic noise. Tv with multiple channel offer. The enclave was fine. it was sought after by me. Courtesy of giving me a view of the sea when my reservation didn't have the right to it, You get in and out of town very easily if you go straight to the hotel from the south.

The air conditioning grill vibrates quite a bit when it's running and makes noise all night. . . I travel a lot and that hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars. Maybe 2.5 or 3. . . The staff was a bit lost when it came to knowing which bed to give me and I had to ask the bed cleaner. Not that I disliked this, but a 4 star hotel cannot give that image of disorganization, if the client is already on time to check in. Not having parking in the same hotel takes away from the quality, because it is difficult to park nearby. . The area that are not rooms is somewhat old . I had to do something that I was never asked to do in any hotel, which is to sign the cancellation of the retention on the card. I paid cash. . I don't think the price/quality ratio is right in the month of February. Maybe it can be summer price, but not winter price.

    gorgeous beach views
    spacious comfortable beds
    perfect location
    frustrating wifi issue

Our room was gorgeous and spacious with fine beach views. Super comfy beds. Perfect location, just across the road from the beach, and we enjoyed venturing to the Old Town and the scenic San Pedro Promenade nearby. Don't miss exploring the local restaurants-they're fantastic! The staff cleaned our room daily without fail.

The only downside was the wifi. We faced issues with connecting devices, which caused some frustration .

Honestly no complains at all. Very nice old and well-appointed accommodation with magnificent setting so close to bar's & cafe's, the beach in the nice part of Santander and the city center where all the bars and restaurants are. The genuinely helpful and very attentive staff working throughout the hotel.
